IB Diploma Programme

Preschool

We want every child to learn and grow in a safe, warm, joyful, and stimulating environment, where they can build positive relationships with their peers and develop their abilities through play.

The early years of life are fundamental to a child’s development. That is why our approach places each child at the centre of their learning journey, nurturing their curiosity and creativity while supporting them as they build self-esteem, confidence, and independence, and develop positive relationships with others.

Our aim is to create the ideal conditions for each child to thrive in a safe, warm, joyful, and dynamic environment where they feel valued and respected.

Psychopedagogical Department

  • Regular exchange meetings with the teachers of each grade.
  • Group observation
  • Group workshops focused on discussion and reflection around developmental topics and other issues that may be affecting the group, when appropriate.
  • Individual or small-group meetings with children when needed.
  • Occasional meetings with specialists or healthcare professionals who support the child outside the school. (Psychological assessments and ability or developmental testing are not conducted at the school).
  • Informational and coordination meetings with teachers and school principals.

All personal information relating to each child is handled exclusively to gain a better understanding of their experience and functioning at school and to identify the most appropriate support strategies.

It is essential that this is handled with discretion and respect, safeguarding the privacy of each child and their family.

Woodmornings

We offer a space where children develop their creativity through observation and experimentation, taking an active role in their own learning.

Creating experiences that inspire children to create and discover. Providing hands-on opportunities that support age-appropriate learning. Presenting challenges that children can solve through thinking, reflection, or language.

Cooperative and mixed-age learning provides children with opportunities to learn from their own experiences and those of others, encouraging them to learn from one another as well as from themselves.
